Antique Colors. / Perspectives.

ANTIQUE COLORS.

I love this because of the antique outfit, hat, background, and of course color.

I find this intense for some reason. I like the composition, and the vertical line on the right side. I think the hat and glasses really top it off.

NYC at midnight, Spring 2011

St. Patrick's in NYC at night.

Un-toned exposure, looks cool with the image itself.

Strong HDR here of antique car at night downtown.

San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hallway of dungeon.

Nothing more classy or relaxing than book reading on a busy beach.

Antique looking fountain shot.

Antique polaroid--my first camera of any sort.

Gravestone.

Similar to my other shot; I enjoy the touch of purple with the sepia.

Bored. Lonely. Vaccant.

I adore the old-time look to this shot. The blurry care zooming by in the city in sepia.

The angles and cropping of this shot are unique. Its also classy looking, especially since its the play Singin' in the Rain. I love how Claire was captured in the middle of her trot.

Here I was in Haiti with the most quiet, meaningful little boy I have ever met. He never spoke a word and was 5. His collarbone was the size of 5 toothpicks. Malnourished. Hungry. Dirty. More alone than any of the other orphans at the orphanage. I really hope my love for him in that week I was there made an impact on him.

Stacks and stacks of elegant chairs in a storage room at the Ritz Carlton.

This picture has a nice wave of visuals to it. Somehow it is blurry but also sharp. The outfit and hair cut is so antique and beautiful.

In honor of you Evan Wolfe. We love you.

I love the sharpness of his face, with the mini microphone. I find this to be a handsome portrait, especially with his hair slicked back. Definitely a look of the 1960's, or, Bye Bye Birdie atmosphere.

I adore the angle and orange warmth of this photo--definitely unique.

Town of Waxhaw; this reminds me of Scout and Jem's street in the movie/book To Kill A Mockingbird.

Two images I put on top of each other. There are lots of sheer areas.
The background to this is we are who we are, and when we go out into the world we are influenced and probably turn into something different. When we walk back into our doors at home, we change and readjust to ourselves. If we are out too often, we change. Home is what our heart thrives off of, so make your home a good thing for your heart to consume.

I don't really know why, but I like this eerie shot. Its not the best background drop, but in a way it makes the photo complete.

I like the decayed look of the colors, and the sharpness of the brick.

I like the view point on this one. The coloring matches up with her hair, too.

Old door knob. I like the red paint, it makes the picture jump out a little bit.

The traditional Virginian house. There are deep auburn colors here, too.

Summer heat in the city.

Classy! Photographer in the play Singin in the Rain

Faded colors of a Haitian child waving with floss in his mouth.

Dancers at the beach? Best kinds.

Plaid. Country. Open field. Dead grass. ♥

The warmth of the sun.

Bye Bye Birdie, the play, I was the make-up girl. One of my favorite plays of all times, just because of the memories.

This looks like an old photo because of the car style and city scene. Different.

With the frame and decoration, it looks extra antique.

I love both these photos; pelicans&ballerinas.

Samuel.

Salo.

Puerto Rico 2012

Inside San Juan fortress.

Inside San Juan fortress.

At sunset. Grass. Patterns. Fedoras.

One of my grandmother's antiques.

A tunnel in the mountains of North Carolina. The two tunnel walls were covered with this, it was pretty neat. Summer 2010.

PERSPECTIVES and CREEPY.

it is up to you to decide which one is which.

BKTF Concert; enjoy the perspective here and the color focusing makes the yellow pop especially much.

Beach.

Downward perspective.

?? ... ^.^

Flipped perspective.

I enjoy the look of this photo. The perspective is myself under the playground monkey bars, and he is on the top of them, looking down here. Summer, 2010.

The Black Swan on the floor of Graphic Design class. The room was dark with one lamp right there, adds the emotional lighting.

...How we all feel sometimes, whether we admit to it or not.

Train tracks in downtown Charlotte.

Fisheye.

Glowing balls in the pool; upper perspective.

I love the sharpness and vibrant colors here, and also how the sun is trying to come around the edges of the stone, making the sky different colors.

Candles at church in NYC, St. Peters

Perspective off of the Empire State Building at midnight.

Fountain in Downtown Charlotte

Creepy. Reflection that is lined up with the door in front, quite odd.

Another Graphic Design project

Taken in Haiti 2012; Rachael prepping to do a headstand.

Interesting perspective in pool.

San Juan fortress' creepy stairwell.

COLORS! Ben and Jerry's ice cream tables.

Graphic Design project piece of Junior year; The Portal.

Two shutter-ings. I find this neat because it is so intense.

Emily is hanging off the ceiling? Cool.

Took this from the ground, find it pretty cool of a perspective. All the hands are intriguing.

This flower is actually about 5 inches. I love how large it looks from the perspective.

This is a bridge near Blowing Rock, NC. Summer 09. The lighting is nice.

This one looks as if it is pasted right onto the photo. The power of flash during the daytime.

The ideal fall colors.

Urban Outfitters in Asheville, NC. Very cool building.

I would imagine this position to be uncomfortable, interesting picture though.

Spray paint.

Bridge in the mountains. Love the sunset coloring the leaves.

Neon shoes and movement of tying.

Bowling alley.

Laying down in a railroad.
