Essence of Photography

Photography is so much more than a snap and a print. Its about the world. About things people in certain parts of the globe never see in the other. Its about capturing things that would otherwise be forgotten. Showing and keeping sides of life that people see right over each day. It's use can be, a change of perspective. A change of life.

Sure, my photography is not very much like that because I am trapped in one area most of the time. But one day, it hopefully will be.

I try to think outside of suburbia and my school, but its all such fine lines. A perfect, sharp-edged cube that I live in.

"...Because, I want to travel. For photography, around the entire globe. That would be amazing. Undescribably, amazing. I want to see everything. See an elephant's crispy skin tinted with mud in Africa. See the children in the slums of urban India crawling all over the vivid world, of decay. Help the helpless. Snap a photo of a slowly dying animal population, that should have mankind's help. See a whale swoop out of the Artic Ocean. The northern lights! Neon naturalism. Come close to a giraffe, maybe even stand aside it's colossal legs. Experience the beauty of Europe and its excitement, and joy. See the Sistine chapel and step upon the marble plates that Michelangelo himself, once stood upon. (Partially.) Soar off a cliff into the ocean, feeling liberated, and connected to the world. Dive off of a plane and take to the air into literally anywhere, and see the quilts of the world’s face, in my view. Fall in love, with someone who shares the bond of love for this exhiliarating world. Absorb the light rays of Japan’s busiest roads. Spin around in the Grand Canyon, sucking in the fresh air, of space. Trudge through the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean’s blue seas. Visit the Taj Mahal, in India--Gorgeous. Maybe even touch the dried clay of the ancient Pyramids. See the Neuschwanstein castle. Dip my hand in the peaceful Plitvice Park and its waterfalls in Croatia. Tear up over the extensive beauty of the Wulingyuan Rocky Peaks in China. Stare at them for hours. Touch the thick bark of massive sequoias. Stroke the white walls of Greece while looking into the endless sea, that sadly isn't endless..

Not half of this will happen. But if it did..."
